As national exams kick off, social media is full of flashy posts from politicians wishing candidates success. They suddenly appear caring — posting messages full of love and encouragement — yet many of our children still lack even the basics.
Across the country, students sit in classrooms without enough books, food, or proper facilities. Some schools don’t even have clean drinking water. But instead of solving these real problems, leaders are busy paying bloggers to make them look good online.

True leadership is not about posting best wishes on Facebook or X; it’s about action. It’s about ensuring that every child studies in dignity — with food, books, and a decent environment. Sadly, most of our leaders don’t even know what those children will eat during their exams.
The truth is simple: a post cannot change anything. Our communities are tired of empty promises and fake publicity. By 2027, voters will remember who stood with them throughout the year and who only showed up for the cameras.
Real work speaks louder than social media posts.
