A wave of hope swept through Wikililye Grounds today as Bonny Musambi, the State House Director of Communication Coordination, sent off 714 students to Kitui East Vocational Training Center, a pivotal step toward empowering the region’s youth. Each student, drawn from across Kitui County, received full scholarships covering tuition fees, ensuring that financial barriers would not stand in the way of their educational dreams.

Speaking at the event, Musambi highlighted the transformative potential of vocational training in tackling unemployment and fostering self-reliance. “This isn’t just about education,it’s about equipping young people with skills to shape Kenya’s future,” he said. The students, set to pursue courses in mechanical engineering, IT, hospitality, and fashion design, represent a new generation of change-makers ready to uplift their communities.

The beneficiaries, filled with gratitude, shared their excitement for the opportunity. For Ndanu Mutisya, a scholarship recipient, this moment was life-changing. “I’ve always dreamed of studying automotive engineering, but financial struggles held me back. This scholarship has brought my dream to life,” she said.
