Officials from Seven Summit Treks (SST), a Kathmandu-based mountaineering company, lost contact with the pair at Bishop Rock, situated at an altitude of 8,000 meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mount Everest, the highest mountain on Earth, stands at 8,848.86 meters above sea level and straddles the border between China and Nepal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Veronicah Stellah Thursday,23rd May 2024.
