Kabati parish priest Father Julius Muthamba has called on parents and teachers to take an active role in instilling good virtues in children, particularly those in school, to shape them into dependable future leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Father Muthamba made these remarks during the Kabati Diocese Education Day held at Kabati Parish, an event that saw the participation of over 1,000 students. The students were addressed by several speakers on topics such as academic excellence, living a godly life, and avoiding bad influences that could jeopardize their futures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Father Muthamba expressed concern about the rising cases of drug abuse and same-gender relationships among students, describing these behaviors as corruptive. He criticized organizations promoting LGBTQ beliefs in schools by allegedly corrupting teachers to accept such ideologies. Father Muthamba called on law enforcement to take action against those promoting these behaviors to protect the younger generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also present at the event was Dr. Vincent Munyoki, founder of the Vincent Munyoki Foundation. In his speech, Dr. Munyoki emphasized the importance of students focusing on education and activities that add value to their lives. He encouraged students to realize their purpose in life and to work towards achieving their future goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
