Former Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has lauded Dr. Vincent Munyoki, founder of the Vincent Munyoki Foundation, for his remarkable efforts in uplifting the community through various income-generating initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at a fundraising event for the construction of ACK Diocese of Kitui St. Martin’s Cathedral today, Ngilu acknowledged the foundation\u2019s impactful work, particularly in poverty eradication efforts. She praised Munyoki’s initiative of distributing thousands of chicks to women across Kitui West, emphasizing that such projects play a crucial role in enhancing the financial independence of women, enabling them to support their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ngilu called on other leaders to emulate Dr. Munyoki’s approach, underscoring the importance of grassroots initiatives that directly benefit communities. \u201cYou don\u2019t have to wait to be elected to make a difference,\u201d Ngilu said. \u201cDr. Vincent has shown that individuals can use their resources to transform lives and bring hope to those in need.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Munyoki has become a household name in Kitui West for his numerous philanthropic efforts. His contributions range from donating chicks and building homes for the less fortunate, to empowering the youth by facilitating access to online job opportunities and promoting their involvement in leadership roles. Additionally, his foundation has provided water tanks to churches, donkeys to underprivileged families to ease the burden of fetching water, books to high schools, school bags to thousands of pupils, and sanitary pads for girls and innerwear for boys across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safaricom\u2019s Chief Security Officer, Nicholas Mulila, who was also present at the event, joined Ngilu in praising Dr. Munyoki’s contributions.
