Today marks three weeks since the Machakos County Assembly was closed by defiant Speaker Ann Kiusya, who many believe is working against devolution in the county. The 20 MCAs supporting her are now facing hard times after wasting all the money they got from bribes while enjoying themselves in Malindi with beach girls and boys leaving the machakos county assembly deserted with no business transaction .<\/p>\n

Recently two male MCAs allied to speaker fought over a female MCA, each wanting to spend the night with her, were their actions shocked the public and embarrassed the county leadership.<\/p>\n

Now broke the 20 MCAs have turned to TikTok, hoping to make money by spreading false stories. They are lying to residents by claiming old projects from former Governor Alfred Mutua\u2019s time were done by the current Governor Wavinya Ndeti. Many Machakos residents have called them out for standing in the way of development and using social media to mislead the public. Their TikTok page \u201csanzunews\u201d is full of fake news and negative messages meant to damage the county government’s image.<\/p>\n

But their online hustle isn\u2019t working. Despite begging fans to \u201ctap tap and send gifts,\u201d they\u2019ve only made about 100 shillings barely enough for a meal. Some have started calling Speaker Kiusya again, asking for more bribe money. With nothing left, their only option now is to ask her to reopen the Assembly so they can start earning sitting allowances again, even though they\u2019ve failed to do what they were elected for.<\/p>\n

Governor Wavinya Ndeti, however, isn\u2019t backing down. She\u2019s made it clear she won\u2019t be fooled or pressured by corrupt leaders.<\/p>\n

Her fight against corruption continues, and she remains focused on bringing development to the people. While the MCAs dance on TikTok, she\u2019s working for the county.
