Governor Wavinya Ndeti has announced the promotion of 1,899 county employees, many of whom have been stuck in the same roles since devolution began over a decade ago. Nurses, civil servants, and other dedicated workers will see their promotions take effect from July 1, 2025, with 86 retirees enjoying the honor immediately. Going forward, you don\u2019t have to know anyone to get a promotion.\u201d Her administration is dismantling systems of nepotism and restoring faith in public service. Where corruption once cast a shadow, transparency and fairness are taking root. Money is now being redirected where it belongs to the people who serve, protect, and build the county day in and day out.<\/p>\n<p>In her speech, the Governor urged staff to serve with renewed passion: \u201cLet us remain faithful to our calling. Let us discharge our duties wholeheartedly.\u201d It was both a challenge and a promise. Wavinya Ndeti is charting a new path forward, one marked by equity, purpose, and unity.
