Where Over 3,000 members gathered with high hopes for accountability and progress, but instead, they were met with horror as a middle-aged woman was nearly killed in a desperate stampede for meager bread and soda\u2014lunch offerings insultingly inadequate for such a crowd. It wasn\u2019t until fellow members, shocked by the indifference of their so-called leaders, rushed to her aid that she was saved from what could have been a fatal outcome. This incident has ignited outrage across the region, with members now threatening mass withdrawals from the FSA, accusing the management of not just negligence but outright corruption and inhumanity. \u201cIt\u2019s a shame,\u201d cried one member, visibly shaken, \u201cto watch our savings feed these tyrants while we scramble for crumbs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time Kabati FSA has landed in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Allegations of embezzlement and internal wrangles have been swirling for months, with similar complaints now echoing from branches in Itoleka and Kiusyani were now KIMA, which was an FSA now Sacco now planning to swallow these FSA signaling a storm that could soon engulf the entire FSA network. Hosting such a massive event in a venue with only one entrance doubling as the exit and zero emergency preparedness was a disaster waiting to happen. And it nearly did. The grotesque irony is this: while a woman bled and begged for help on the floor of a poorly chosen venue, the management turned their backs and raised glasses over gourmet plates, toasting their own betrayal. However, during the conversation, she urged our chief editor not to publish the article. Her concern appeared to stem from a perception that we, as <strong>Kambaland Times,<\/strong> were operating on behalf of KIMA.
