Governor Wavinya Ndeti delivered a fiery and impassioned speech in Sultan Hamud, Makueni County yesterday, as she accompanied Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka. Speaking before an electrified crowd, Wavinya declared that the era of political indecision was over, stating emphatically, “Time for jokes has elapsed it’s time for Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka to lead this country.” Her remarks underscored a renewed sense of urgency and determination within the Wiper political base ahead of the 2027 general elections.

With conviction in her voice, the Machakos Governor urged supporters to cast aside fear and doubt, rallying the Kamba community and all Kenyans to stand firm behind Kalonzo’s presidential bid. “Whoever has fear, it’s time to say goodbye to fear,” she said. “We are marching forward with Kalonzo Musyoka to clinch the presidency.” Her message painted Kalonzo as not just a candidate, but a symbol of hope, restoration, and national salvation.
Wavinya was resolute that Kalonzo’s decision to contest in 2027 is final, with no room for backtracking. “Our son Kalonzo Musyoka has already decided this time round, no turning back,” she declared. “His intention is to be on the ballot, win, and save this country.” She dismissed skepticism about Kalonzo’s commitment, stating that she responds with unshakable confidence to doubters, “No retreat, no surrender.” Her remarks also carried a message of political discipline, noting that loyalty to party leadership is a reflection of character and integrity.

In a sharp rebuke to political defectors, Wavinya condemned leaders from Ukambani who, according to her, frequent State House for financial handouts. Without mincing words, she told the crowd, “You know them eat their money if they bring it, but in 2027, send them home.” Her statement was a clear call for political accountability and unity, especially among Kamba leaders, with the Governor positioning herself as a proud and unwavering daughter of the region. “We as Kamba leaders are solidified behind our party leader,” she affirmed, “and I, as Machakos Governor, must stand with one of ours.”
