Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe on Tuesday commissioned the new Kitui County Public Service Board offices, underscoring his administration’s commitment to ethical leadership, institutional efficiency, and people-centred governance. The modern facility marks a significant investment in public administration, aimed at professionalising service delivery and strengthening governance systems at the county level.

The new offices are expected to enhance operational efficiency by improving records security, supporting institutional independence, and creating a conducive working environment for the Public Service Board. Board Chairperson Dr. Florence Makindi lauded the County Executive for seeing the project through to completion, noting that the facility will enable the Board to discharge its mandate with dignity, integrity, and accountability to the people of Kitui.

County Assembly Speaker Hon. Kevin Kinengo echoed the commitment to good governance, pledging to fast-track any pending legislation necessary to support effective public service management. He also commended the County Executive for visible service delivery gains across the county. Members of the County Cabinet attended the commissioning, reflecting broad institutional support for reforms in public service administration.
